My twin

Well, I have been talking a lot about how doll #53 is my twin, so I decided I would just show you us together so you could decide.

I am the one on the far right, with my little sister Alden. This photo was taken in 2010, when I had longer hair. Also, the lighting is WAY different.  So, do you think we look alike? I do!

Shhh, don't tell Julie...

Look what we made Julie for her Birthday tomorrow!!!

So cute right? And best of all, it matches my little sister's dress, so they can match!!! It has that cute floral print on the blue that looks GREAT on Julie! Wow, I can't wait to give it too her tomorrow, I wonder what the other girls will give her! Sorry for the short post, I am REALLY busy!!! Thanks for reading AG World, sorry that I have not been posting much lately!

AG Store bound!!!

YAY!!! For my late b-day present, we are going to New York! We are going to the AG Store, other stores, and then we are going to see Wicked! I have never been to New York before, and I am REALLY exited! I will have some birthday money and some money from my bank account, so I can buy a few things. I am planning on buying My AG doll #25 with black/brown hair and brown eyes and a few outfits. I am just wondering... which doll should I bring with me? I am leaning towards McKenna ( because Julie's ears are already pierced and her hair would not be very much fun to style), But Julie has not been on many trips lately, I'm just worried that her hair will be in the way. And I might not even bring a doll, because I will be getting one and we might not have time to go to the Hair Salon, the Bistro, or the Picture Studio ( Is that what it's called?)
I am so exited and my dolls are too, because if one of them goes then I will take them everywhere as we will have no place to put them. I am going to put up a Poll with my question on it, so you can vote on which doll I should take with me to NYC. I also have taken some pictures of my dolls too, so you can see them. Oh, I just thought of another reason why J should go-her birthday is tomorrow! I will take a picture of her on her B-day, but Her party will be a week later (On my birthday!) Also ,my dog's and my mom's birthday are this month! Wow...

Julie

One of my options, although I'm more leaning toward McKenna because of this doll's hair...No offense Julie, but it looks like something is living in there.

McKenna

McKenna in her new outfit that I got at the Washington DC Boutique and Bistro! Don't you love it? I do! I think McKenna might be a better traveling partner then Julie, mainly because she does not snore : )

No Doll
And the last option is no doll. Nada. Nip. Zilch. A big fat goose egg. As you can probably guess, I'm not crazy about this idea.

Make sure to cast your vote soon, before I go on the 20th!

A craft made by me!!!

Hey!!! It is me again, with my second post today : ). I have really been wanting to share this craft that I made when I was first starting to get into AG. I will share a picture and then tell you how to make it. I really hope you like this craft, because I spent a lot of time and hard work making it!

The Dolly Closet

Okay, so this is an AG closet I made a while ago, out of a box that held boots. It was really fun to make and here is how I made it: You will need: a large shoe box or an American girl box, scissors, glue gun, fleece or cotton fabric, duck tape, and doll clothes and hangers ( I could not display many of my doll clothes because I did not have many hangers, but now I know how to make them out of wire).

Step #1: cut a small strip out of the top of the box top and hot-glue it like in the picture ( I used tape, which is NOT a good idea if you want this to last). This will be the rod to hang clothes on. Step #2: cut a rectangle from the lid of the box that will fit in the box like my bench. Cover it with fabric and secure the bench with the glue gun. This will be your bench. Step #3: put all your doll clothes in the closet, and decorate the outside with duck tape if you want to. This is a very easy doll craft to make.

We are back!

Hi everyone, I am back from the beach with Olivia and McKenna, and I am here to share some pics...just let me find them first *insert elevator music* . Oh no. I just found out that my pictures of Olivia ARE NOT HERE!!! Oh well, I guess I'll just have to use the stock picture of her:

Meet Olivia! She is an 18-inch Springfield doll. You can buy dolls and clothes like her at Michaels or other craft stores. She costs about 20 dollars in the U.S.A. Olivia comes dressed in a simple meet outfit with no shoes, but I bought her this outfit and some silver flats. I love Olivia so much and I am so glad to add her to my doll family. So sorry for the lack of pictures, more coming soon!

So, back to my trip...

McKenna is surprisingly famous in Hilton Head. Here she is getting photographed by a rather large fan (my cousin Anna).

It got a bit chilly so McKenna bundled up.

Okay, so those are a few of our pictures from Hilton Head. The last one is actually a bit before we left our house. I really need to upload more of my pictures from the trip, because I took a lot more.

Okay, so I re-did my blog (something I do often, by the way. Once I kept switching back and forth from flowers to orange star bursts) and now it's all black and white. Do you like the design? I do!

I don't want to give anything away, but there are some pretty big surprises coming up on American Girl World. I have a lot of things to share ( like about my new Springfield Collection doll Olivia!) but right now I am blogging while on vacation, so I can't take any pics now and for about the next week I will not have any internet access at all. I'm so sorry, and I can't wait to get back to posting regularly!!!

Sorry that this post is so short, I have been really busy recently lately. By the way, if you have any pictures, videos, or doll info of any kind ( including news about the new AG historical coming this year!) then just send the pictures to me at my email at amgirlworld@gmail.com. If you send me info, please remember to send a link along with it and send at least a short description of your picture or/and video.  Thank you guys so much for liking American Girl World, and I can't wait to get back to posting when I get home! When I do, I can share some pics of McKenna and Livie on vacation, of the girls enjoying April Fools day, and of the sandwich stand I made out of an AG box, duct tape, pencils, paper, coasters, and a lot of AG food.  Right now, McKenna and Olivia are dreaming of the beach, bike riding, and the pool that they will see when we go to the beach tomorrow!
